Rapper B-Dot Is Light Yearz Ahead

Emcee and producer, B. Dot, born Charles Burnley, hailing from the San Fernando Valley proves to be the heat coming out it... but it's not where you're from, it's where you're at in life. Cut from a new cloth and structured with street smarts, self-discipline and character, he attracts a new spirit of hip hop.

DJ BUDDY TV

Event Date:
Wednesday, August 25, 2010 - 9:00pm - 11:00pm

Do you like DJs? Then you gotta chill with us on DJ Buddy TV. I'll be spinnin' with my boys on August 25th live. We're gonna be CLOWNIN' and enjoying good company and music. I think that I'm going to go ahead and just stick with vinyl.

Serato is cool and convenient, but I rocked vinyl for 10 years. After using my computer for most gigs, it's always special when you rock pure vinyl. It'll be fun. Join us!

Vintage Videos

This is what I like to call "vintage." From time to time, I'll post something that I remember or a friend mentions. In this particular post, my big sis, Mina brought up how artist, Neneh Cherry had way more musical depth than what the masses heard through her pop hit, "Buffalo Stance." I admittedly still like! Shiiioooo! That thang is jammin' til this day and the video rocks! I'll post that, too, along with "7 Seconds" featuring Youssou N'Dour. The video I really want you to check out right now is called, "Woman." It's so beautiful and the video is classic.

Lil Jon Gets Outta His Mind With LMFAO

This song gets me HYPED!!!! I don't drink or do drugs but I can have the time of my life. Just be free and always have fun; even if you think you're being silly. It'll keep you from going psychotic. Warning Some Inappropriate Content. And remember, it's entertainment ya'll.

Vi (I pronounced like EYE) is an upcoming rapper from Chicago. He's got a lot of talent, otherwise, I wouldn't be spinning for him. haha And U-N-I is rockin' too. They're from my neighborhood, Inglewood. Love those guys!

The show will start at 7:30. So get there early!!!!!

Snoop Dogg Malice n Wonderland

Snoop Dogg's new album, Malice n Wonderland will be out on December 8th. Here's a cut (http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=afc416eed8deb01dab1eab3e9fa335ca0bfd5...)called "I Wanna Rock". It's sick! It's produced by Scoop DeVille where he sampled "Takes Two" by Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock. That song actually used samples from Lyn Collins and James Brown "Think (About It).

QD3 Presents The Carter

Quincy Jones III is releasing the Lil Wayne documentary entitled, "The Carter" which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. It follows the personal, musical and drug life of Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. Earlier this year, Lil Wayne actually asked a judge to stop the release of the piece, but was denied. I mean, once you sign the papers, it's pretty much out of your jurisdiction.
